Error message during boot 

DESCRIPTION

While displaying the splash screen during booting, I typed some strings and
those displayed in the screen. (see image attached)

EXPECTED

Is this a normal behaviour, or should this be forbidden? 

Note: the first time it happened, the boot process froze and I got an error
message (see image) - I took the battery out and unplugged the netbook but it
didn't help. I was unable to boot again. I had to start the installation again
from the image in my USB key.
