In spite of having selected the US International keyboard layout, the status
update field won't allow typing with dead keys.

Reproduce Steps(steps,current result, reproduce possibility)
===========================================================
(1) Set keyboard layout to US International (AltGr)
(2) Enter text in Status Update field
(3) Type AltGr+6 -- this should be a dead key, but is not


Expected result:
===========================================================

You should be able to use dead-keys to input international characters.

I guess it is relative to NBTK.

Hello folks,

I found the same problem. My layout is belgian keyboard. I can't type a "â", it
gives a "^a". If I try the AltGr+Shift+6 it should give a "⅝" but it gives a
"§". No way also to type a "å" '(AltGr+Shift+^ then a), it just gives a "a".

Same problem in the topfiled of the tabs "people", "internet", "media",
"clipboard" and "applications".

There's something wrong with hyphenations in one of Moblin's core library...
