Bug detailed descriptions(behavior, impact, etc)
===========================================================

I am a sight impaired programmer, using computers as a "seeing" person that I
am, but I do need specific color schemes to match my sight's possibilities. I
just bought a Tablet PC and thought it would act far better with a netbook OS,
thus I've checked JoliCloud and Moblin.

Just an introduction to visual accessibility first: totally blind people are
just a very few of us all and most of us, sight impaired people, are using
their eyes, not some voice over of sorts. Some of us need wider/larger fonts,
some need zooms and some others need special contrasts.

As far as I'm concerned, I'd need white texts on black background just as good
as the Moblin top menu is. I'd probably need larger fonts too. But the
accessibility options are limited to screen readers :(

In "normal" OS, only two are really accessible:

- the most accessible is Ubuntu (and most Linux distribs) as one can quite fine
tune the UI, that's the case with JoliCloud (for the most part as their Widgets
of sorts aren't obeying the UI options). Ubuntu is great at that. Even better,
one can benefit from a modern interface with shadows, transparent windows and
all even in a "tuned" UI.

- the second most accessible is Windows as since Windows 95, one can choose a
visual theme of his choice, mine being "inverted high contrast black" (with
normal fonts) or whatever it's called in English (I'm french, sorry :S). The
only "problem" is that even in Windows 7, the only UI you can access with these
themes is the one of... Win '95 (ugly) :(

- the worst is by far Mac OS X as, besides the "seems to be great" VoiceOver
and the zoom, as far as I'm concerned, their "white on black" / "black on
white" settings: that's just a video inversion, meaning that when you use a
black window with the "white on black" setting turned on, you end with a...
white background page :S Even worse, as a video invertion, ALL pictures
(including videos) will be in inverted mode. Did you ever try to watch a video
in inverted contrast? :((((

So, what's the bug with Moblin's US? Simple: it lacks the possibility of finely
customizing it with choosing color schemes and font sizes. Such a fast OS with
such an awesome UI needs to be "over the top" in all sections, including
accessibility to win the game of netbooks' OS.

Don't let me run that heavy Ubuntu, that mixed-moded JoliCloud or that
old-school looking and way to heavy Windows XP on my Tablet, make my day and
offer me the best OS I could have ever dreamt of!

Thank you very much in advance!
