neobob, Following you step on my Eeepc1000h with moblin-2.1-final-20091103 img but I don't find system hang, it works for me. (1) Play the "big-buck-bunny" video file (2) enable external display: xrandr --output VGA1 --auto (3) external screen only: xrandr --output LVDS1 --off (4) Dual screen both: xrandr --output LVDS1 --auto (5) Local screen only: xrandr --output VGA1 --off
